Christ-King School welcomes new principal Sheldon Gallagher

Time really flies when you’re having fun. Looking back, it has been an action packed year with many changes and successful learning experiences for our students.

Field trips this week include a camping trip for the Grade 5 and 6 class, a trip to the zoo for the Grade 3 and 4 class and kindergarten and Grade 1 and 2 students are off to the ever popular, Drumheller.

We will be having our final Mass on Friday, June 25, followed by an awards ceremony and we invite all parents, grandparents and siblings to attend.

We will have a picnic lunch and then an afternoon of games to celebrate the last day of school. Report cards will be sent home at the end of the day on the 25.

We bid adieu to Miss Soldan, our principal, Mr. Faught and Mrs. Broekhuizen as they move onto new and exciting adventures.

We will miss them and pray for God’s blessing over their lives.

We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Sheldon Gallagher, our new principal, his wife, Erinn and his children, Makenna and Seamus.

We pray for a safe and fun summer for all of our Christ King students and their families and look forward to seeing you at the end of August. God bless you.
