Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, even though the weather was a little cooler than most of us like.
Beavers will be starting this Wednesday at the Botha hall starting after school. There is still time to sign up, for more information please contact Donna at 403-742-1038. It will continue through April. Even though I don’t have any kids that are the right age to use these programs it makes me very happy to see all the programs that have been starting up again in Botha.
There will be a Centennial meeting at the hall on Thursday, Oct. 22, everyone who would like to help organize Botha’s 100th anniversary is welcome to attend. For more information contact Karen at the village office.
The Seniors’ Centre continues with carpet bowling and floor curling every week, as well military whist the third Monday of every month. I have a feeling we will all be looking for indoor activities until we can adjust to the rather dramatic weather changes this past couple of weeks.
Church services continue on Sundays at 1 p.m. at the United Church, everyone welcome.
The next old time dance is Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Botha hall. Remember that because this is a supper dance admission is $12 instead of $10.
