Tonight (Wednesday, May 4) the Stettler Public Library is very pleased to welcome local author Carole Lauweryssen at 7 p.m. for a very special evening when she discusses her book Unspeakable Gift. Join one woman's heartwarming, spiritual journey as she reunites with her biological family after 30 years, finding new roots and the promise of true completeness. Refreshments will be served.

Join us on Thursday, May 5 at 4 p.m. to make a surprise for Mother's Day. Darlene will be making a Sundae Spa bath salts craft and card with participants. Please pre-register to make a fabulous gift for your mom.

Readers' Circle concludes for the summer on Thursday, May 5 at 7 p.m. when we discuss Elena Ferrante's My Brilliant Friend. Join us for some great discussion and a spot of tea.

Are you wanting to get some tips on how to maintain your bike before you take it out on the road? Join us for a bike maintenance workshop on Saturday, May 7 at 11 a.m. Bring your bike to the library and learn how to keep it in top working order all summer long.

We have brought back the town's gardening expert, Rob Spencer, help you answer common gardening questions. Join us for How Does Your Garden Grow? on Wednesday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. to the answers you seek.

We're going to continue the gardening theme with our Read and Rhyme special event on Friday, May 13 at 10:30 a.m. We are going to "Plant a seed and watch it grow" with Kayla for ages up to five. Join us for some fun gardening activities. Remember, it is never too young to start gardening.

Do you have a great digital photo that just needs a little something? Why not Inspire Yourself on Saturday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. ? Bring a digital photo and we will add a quote of your choice and the picture will be printed to make a piece of art for you to frame.

Last but not least, the Stettler Public Library would like to invite you for tea. Not just any tea, but high tea because we are having a Downton Abbey Tea Party on Saturday May 14 at 2 p.m. There will be sandwiches, sweets and tea along with Downton Abbey themed activities and trivia. Hats are encouraged.
