Canadian Immigrant magazine can help immigrants with everything from careers to learning and understanding the “Canadianisms” we speak. It features a section on Careers and stories on immigrants’ issues. With other sections on housing, money and business, health, education, culture, and settling in Canada, it addresses all of the questions immigrants have on making a life in their new country.

Past on-line issues are available. The July 2009 issue features a section on the steps to becoming a teacher in Canada, obtaining accreditation for out of country training and skills, and business etiquette. Interested immigrants can sign up for a Connections newsletter.

The Alberta Employment and Immigration office offers several publications targeting immigrants, some offered in their own language. Contact us at 430-742-7586 or visit us on Main Street in Stettler.
