After a long dry spell, the parched prairie finally received some very welcome rain. More than two inches of the wet stuff fell over several days, including the long weekend, which had farmers and ranchers grinning from ear to ear, even though it wasn’t so ideal for the long weekend campers.

Ken and Eleanor Schultz hosted their annual Victoria Day weekend camp-out at their farm with 10 RVs arriving. Despite the soggy weather campers still managed to keep a smile on their faces with the welcome moisture. Campers are a hardy lot in Alberta.

Students of the Byemoor School will present their annual Spring Concert on June 3 at 1:45 p.m. at the school gymnasium. Be sure to come out and support the students.
