The Church at Endiang is hosting a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Endiang Community Hall from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Admission is by donation.
All proceeds will go to the Byemoor School Library to purchase much needed resources.
The Endiang Community Society is donating the use of the hall facilities for the event. Be sure to come out and enjoy the supper and support this worthy community cause.
Twelve teams competed in Byemoor’s Farmer’s Bonspiel that wrapped up on Sat, Feb. 4.
Teams from Rumsey dominated the bonspiel, winning all three events.
Winning the ‘A’ Event was the Deryk Krycun team over the team of Tim Primrose, both from Rumsey.
‘B’ Event winners were the team of Mark McNaughton, of Rumsey, over the Jamie Kobi team of Stettler.
‘C’ Event saw the team of Travis Cawiezel, of Rumsey, win over the Eugene Nixon team of Byemoor.
A banquet and “Pick a Prize” awards concluded the bonspiel on Saturday evening.
Next bonspiel is the Byemoor Mixed Bonspiel on Feb. 27 – March 4.

Tyson and Kary Lyn Keith and their children Jace, Boden and Kinsley, along with Kary Lyn’s parents Vern and Shelley Swedberg, recently enjoyed a vacation to Florida.
Some of the highlights included visiting Disney World, taking in the Alek Manoah baseball camp, experiencing a dip in the ocean for the first time for the kids, attending a Panthers vs. Bruins hockey game and enjoying plenty of activities like swimming, rock climbing, mini golf, and more at the resort.
The trip sounds amazing and packed with great memories.
We send Happy Birthday wishes to these senior ladies, Shirley Lumsden who celebrated her 81st birthday on Feb. 5, Eleanor Schultz marked 87 years-young on Feb. 7, and Lucy Gutsche celebrated 89 years on Feb. 8. We hope you all had a great day and a wonderful year ahead.
The County of Stettler 2023 Community Service Awards are coming up on Thursday, March 2 at Red Willow. Nominations are open until Feb. 14 for the Stettler Dodge Community Service Award and ATCO Cultural, Arts and Heritage Award.
As well, each community can recognize their own community volunteers.
