Folks are enjoying the good stretch of mild weather following the lengthy cold snap in February. It definitely makes one feel that spring is not far away. Perhaps it will be an early spring, as residents have reported seeing gophers out and the Canada geese back already.
Don’t forget Daylight Saving Time is here once again. Remember to spring ahead and set your clocks forward one hour on Sunday, March 9. The official time of change is at 2 a.m.

We always like to include birthday greetings for our seniors, aged 80 years and over. Also, like to mention anyone turning that special 65 years old who gets on the government payroll. I’m sure we are missing some, so send us those special senior birthdays from the Byemoor / Endiang area and we will try to include them.
Humour for the Day —
“I told my wife I wanted to be cremated. She made an appointment for Tuesday.”
“Most bald people still own a comb. They just can’t part with it.”
“How come there is enough asphalt for speed bumps, but not enough to fill potholes?”
“I was just minding my own business, and just like that, 1975 was 50 years ago.”
