Our club has been busy. On Dec. 1 we sold Christmas trees and helped hand out candy bags at the Santa Claus Day at the Byemoor Community Hall.
Between tree sales and handing out candy bags, we had a quick meeting and lunch followed by a presentation by Eric Andrew from Masterfeeds who spoke on the handling and feeding of our 4-H calves. The following day we helped with the cooking and serving of the Halkirk Elks Santa Claus Day Pancake Breakfast which was held at the Halkirk Community Hall. Our next gathering will be our club Christmas party, which will be held at the Schilling farm where we will be tobogganing. Our next 4-H meeting will be held Jan. 18, 2019.
