Busy summer of activities in Donalda

DONALDA DIARY -- The Mother's Day brunch that was put on by the Donalda Coulee Friendship Club was a great success with a large number of people enjoying the tasty and delicious food. It was wonderful way to celebrate special mothers everywhere.

The Donalda Gallery for the Arts is planning for a very busy and exciting summer, with three large exhibitions running from June to September. Joanee and Bill Green from Forestburg, will be exhibiting artworks such as glass, jewellery, pottery, and Diamond Willow carving. The opening reception will be held on June 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the gallery. This wonderful exhibition will run until July 17 and will be open daily during the summer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Donalda & District Museum is now booking for tours this 2016 summer season. Please send us an email to info@doanldamuseum.com or call us at 403.883.2100 to schedule a tour.

The Donalda Coulee Friendship Club will be having their coffee and fellowship from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the drop-in centre on May 21. Everyone is welcome to come out.
