Congratulations to our Intermediate School Reach Team, who placed first in their pool and second overall, earning the right to advance to provincials in Wetaskiwin on May 6.

Our senior A team narrowly missed going to provincials by two points. Good luck School Reach and we wish you luck.

The student learning conferences and early intervention were held at the school last week went.

The Grade 12 cosmetology students are now taking public for haircuts, waxing, sets, manicures, facials, and gel nails by appointment only.

There will be a badminton clinic coming up during spring break for all those who are interested on improving their skills. This four day clinic will run 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily for beginners and intermediate players and also 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 5 daily for intermediate and advanced players between March 28 to March 31.

We would like to say bye to the students who are heading off to France and Germany this week.

Twenty one students, three teachers, and five parents will be heading to France on Thursday, March 24 for Spring Break. They will be visiting Paris, Versailles, the Normandy coast, and Mont. St. Michel. They are very excited to practice their French, see the sites, and of course eat some amazing French cuisine. Mr. Baharally and 12 students will be leaving on March 21 for three weeks to Sanitz, Germany.

They will be attending school and will take a day trip to Denmark. We wish all the students safe travels and hope they have lots of fun!

The Grade 12 students finally have their grand march partners and are very busy with planning for grad on May 28.

Everyone is excited for spring break which will have started by the time this is in print.
