The board for the next year is composed of president Forrest Hagen, vice-president Marty Larson, secretary Donna Dahl, treasurer Marlene Conibear and directors Ray Kneeland, Jim Conibear, Lane Damberger, Harvey Viksi and Bev Getzlaf with Bruce Gartside as village representative. The first thing on the agenda for the new fiscal year of the museum is to hire a museum manager. The position has been posted so anyone interested please apply to the board at info@donaldamuseum.com.

The Donalda Beautification Initiative met on Feb. 1 with five community members in attendance. The purpose of this group is to improve the first impression to visitors and residents by focusing on several areas. The group discussed several existing key areas as well as the possibility of creating new flowerbeds. The committee will be looking for volunteers in the spring to help with cleanup and the accomplishment of these goals. If you are interested in volunteering and/or would like to be involved, please contact Beth at 403-883-2891.

Please mark on your calendar Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at the drop-in on March 8, 5 to 7 p.m. and the pancake breakfast and Music Jam also at the drop-in on Sunday, March 13 starting at 11.

Congratulations to the following who are celebrating their birthdays this week: Ben VanHaga, Randy Jones, Matthew Kneeland, Albert Cartier, Alison Norman, Melissa Jensen and T.J. Dahl.
