With Family Day coming up on Feb. 21, the Botha arena will be hosting their family day activity on Friday Feb. 25 between 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.

With other family day activities around the country, they decided Feb. 25 would be best for everyone to attend. So come on out that day and do some skating and have some fun as a family.

For all arena activities and to purchase a family pass, please contact Hazel Davidson at 403-742-8784 or her cell at 403-741-5275. For information about the men’s hockey nights please contact Murray Davidson at 403-741- 5276 or D. J. Kiskner at 403-742-8184 or 403-741-4950 for all after school activities. Hope to see all skaters out to have fun on Feb. 25.

The Botha Community Centre is holding their annual general meeting the evening of Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. This will be held at the Botha hall and everyone is welcome to attend.

Wednesday mornings starting at 10 a.m., come on out and join your neighbors for a fresh refreshing cup of hot coffee at the seniors’ centre. They would love to see everyone out to visit and a relaxing time.

The next quilting hour will be on Monday, Feb. 28 starting at 9:30. Bring your quilting projects along and have a great time with them quilting.

Calling all Bingo fans, the next early bird game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1 at 7:15 p.m. So come and meet them all at the Botha Seniors’ Centre for a great evening.

It’s sure a change in weather this week, hopefully it continues. It’s nice to feel the heat from the sun and seeing the snow starting to disappear. Hopefully, the rest of this month and March will be nice to us as farmers will be going into calving season soon.

Church services will continue for the rest of this month and into upcoming months at 11 a.m. Sunday mornings at the Botha United Church. Come on out and hear Reverend Susan Bowyer. They would love to see everyone out.

The next Old-Time Dance will be Sunday Feb. 27 at 1:30 p.m. Come on out and take in the music from the Borch Family Fiddlers. This will be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please bring a salad or desert with you and join your friends for a dance or two.
