GADSBY/WESTWOODS NEWS -- The ladies of the Gadsby Omega Circle held their October meeting before bazaar to finalize plans for the day. The 94th bazaar will be held in the Botha Community Hall this year. This decision was made in order to accommodate more vendors, easy access for walkers, wheelchairs etc. and less congestion around tea tables. All proceeds will once again go toward the upkeep of the Gadsby Cemetery.
Bill and Joyce Hansel spent a few days in Drayton Valley helping son Larry Hansel celebrate his birthday. Fred and Velvet Entwisle and family members helped Angela Bigney celebrate her birthday with a family supper. Happy birthday to both.
Frank and Eleanor Dahlgren enjoyed a thanksgiving supper Saturday night at Dwayne and Bonnie Kobi's. The newlyweds, Richard and Brianna were there from Edmonton.
Also, Lyle and Betty Jean Goodkey hosted a thanksgiving dinner with all the Goodkey brothers and families in attendance. This was especially enjoyed as this does not happen very often.
Get well wishes to Greg Jackson and Smitty who are both in Red Deer Hospital.
