Birthday greetings go out to Chandler Skocdopole who turned nine years old. A family birthday supper was held Jan. 23 at his home with mom and dad, Richelle and Greg, brothers Elliot and Alexander and sister Bridget, as well as uncles and aunts, Wade and Ybiett and girls, Arden and Deanne and girls and grandma and grandpa, Gloria and Stan Diegel. A fun time of birthday cake and presents. Way to go Chandler!
Emilie Ross spent the weekend with grandma Doreen Reynolds enjoying a special time together.
Neal and Lorna Walgenbach along with their son Hally and his girlfriend Kendra headed to Las Vegas last weekend where they tool in the wedding of Brad and Janelle Greiner of Stettler. Hally was best man for the event. They enjoyed a bit of Los Angeles activity.
Frank and Eleanor Dahlgren had a surprise phone call this weekend from old friends George and Shirley Bertram. They hadn’t heard from each other for some five years and had a pleasant time catching up on news when they met in Stettler for supper that evening.
The beverage room in the agriplex at Westwoods is near completion thanks to the talents of Rick Shepherd and sons Nolan and Joel. The agriplex is now open for spring bookings.
Sincere sympathies go out to the Campbell, Harris and Hunter families on the untimely loss of son and grandson Dustin Campbell. Dustin took part of his schooling in Gadsby and Botha and was well liked by all. A funeral service was held at the Stettler Funeral Home Sunday, Jan. 24. Dustin was 21 years of age.
