A holiday for kids of all ages

Just a reminder of the village office meeting tomorrow at 7 p.m. Please attend as these are very important meetings.

BOTHA BOOSTER -- Just a reminder of the village office meeting tomorrow at 7 p.m. Please attend as these are very important meetings.

Then this coming Sunday is a very exciting day for all children ages regardless of age. For children, it's the second most exciting holiday of the year. Peter Cottontail shows up dropping chocolate eggs and bunnies all over the place. But let's get down to the main reason for this season, Friday is Good Friday when the death of Jesus took place and Easter Sunday is when Jesus rose from the dead to become our personal savior if we only except him into our hearts. So make sure you attend a service both days to celebrate this special occasion for all human person. So happy Easter everyone, hope everyone has a great one and if you are traveling to celebrate with family or friends or both, please drive safely.

Also there will be No Old-Thyme Dance this coming Sunday, due to everyone celebrating Easter, but they will be holding two dances next month instead, the first one being held at 1:30 p.m on April 3. So make sure you come and celebrate their Easter thyme with them and celebrate with the " Sparkling Tones Band". The club is asking everyone who attends to bring with you either buns/sandwiches, salads or deserts with you to share with everyone at the pooled luncheon. If you have any questions please contact Doug Haustein at 403-742-3994 or John Blonski at 403-574-2194.

On March 28, come on out to the seniors' centre at 9:30 a.m. for another exciting day of quilting. They would love to see everyone join them.

On Wednesday, March 30, come on out again to the seniors' centre for a friendly game of Bingo. Who knows you could be the next big winner or one of them.

Then on April 4, get ready for the next seniors' monthly meeting. They hope all seniors can attend. These start at 12 noon with a potluck luncheon.

The Old-Tyme Dance Club also does community service. So if you would like to have them attend your organization, please call Doug Haustein or John Blonski.

In closing, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter season and hopefully the Easter Bunny is great to everyone. Happy Easter Everyone!
