The sympathy of our community goes out to the family of Agnes Sorensen, who passed away in the Stettler hospital on April 22. Agnes and her late husband, Andy, lived south of Halkirk on the home farm where Jim and Leanne now live, and were constant supporters of our community and its events. Services were held in Endiang on April 27.

May 8 - Don't forget the Elks' annual Mother's Day breakfast of pancakes and all the trimmings. It's a great day to get the family together to celebrate. A special plea to all the male Elk members to lend a hand at this busy time of year.
