BYEMOOR 4-H -- On Tuesday, Feb. 28, the Byemoor 4-H Beef club held our public speaking. This event took place at the Byemoor school at 7 p.m. Our M.C. for the evening was Shayla Schilling and our judges were Wendy Ashbacher, Garrett McCrindle and Stuart Somerville.
All of the members had fun and did well presenting their speeches. The placings were as follows: Junior- 1st Ray Musgrove, 2nd Zach Schilling, 3rd Coy Schilling.
Intermediate- 1st Bailey Musgrove, 2nd Abby Musgrove, 3rd Natalie Schilling.
Thank you to our judges, as well as the Byemoor school for allowing us to use their school library.
Members placing first and second from each group will be attending district public speaking at the Stettler Complex on March 9 at 6 p.m.
Jan. 31 was 4-H district ski day at the Alliance ski hill. This year the Byemoor Beef club was hosting. The weather, as well as the snow, was good and all of the members had a fun day of skiing.
