We appreciate everyone who came out for our Around Town Family Scavenger Hunt.

Congrats to the winners who brought home a fun family basket. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next family event. Don’t miss out on face painting and finding Dory at the library on July 25 at 2 p.m. As spaces are limited for this event, please call the library at 403-742-2292 to pre-register.

As next week is science week, don’t miss out on all the cool experiments that we will be doing for our Summer Reading Program. On July 23 come paint your own planet and make elephant toothpaste. This event starts at 10:30 a.m. for ages six to eight and at 12:30 p.m. for ages nine to 12. To pre-register for this event please call the library. Also on July 23 is our Teen Cooking Club, next week we will be baking homemade buns. Please call to pre-register.

And don’t forget about our drop-in Gardening Club every Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. Come tend to the library’s garden while learning about how plants grow. All ages welcome, but ages five and under must be supervised by a parent. Our Friday film on July 27 will be Big Hero 6, come enjoy some popcorn and a movie in the library.

Need some advice on how to perfect your crocheting project? Crystal is here to help. She will be available to answer all your crocheting questions during the summer here at the library.
