Stettler 4-H show and sale celebrates 60th anniversary

Several young 4-H members were honoured at the 60th annual Stettler 4-H District 4-H Beef Show and Sale at Stettler Agriplex on Monday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 25.

Club leaders gave high marks for their members and the show.

“I thought the judges were absolutely posiitve,” said Denise Jacobson, leader of the Big Knife club, which has 20 members.

“Each member deserve a big pat on the back for their hard work and effort.”

“The young 4-Hers worked extremely hard to bring out their best projects,” said Lorna Schilling, leader of the Byemoor club which has 13 members.

“They will all play a key role in building agriculture in the future.”

Over the two days, young 4-H members participated in judging competition, female, showmanship, grooming and conformation classes.

Here’ a rundown of winners in each of the classes.
