Pass attempt

Stettler quarterback Carson Neitz attempts a pass Saturday during the peewee Panthers’ 32-6 loss to the visiting Red Deer Steelers. The Stettler coaches said they were proud of the team’s improvement on both offence and defence from the Panthers’ season-opening loss a week earlier.

Adam Shirley rushed for more than 100 yards and Kelly Page had an interception. Steele Nichols and Austin Jacobson were among the defensive standouts for the Panthers, who visit Lacombe at 1 p.m. Saturday.
