Stettler’s Steele Nichols (#49) as part of Battle River Shock takes down opponent quarterback in their last game against Lloydminster Red Dogs. BRS lost 41-0.

Battle River Shock (BRS) met the Lloydminster Red Dogs at ME Global field in Lacombe on Friday, April 14.

However, less than welcome conditions of freezing temperatures and brisk wind made it extremely difficult and unpleasant for the players to put up a good fight.

Stettler’s Steele Nichols managed to sack the opposing quarterback despite the slippery field, yet the Red Dogs shut out BRS with a 41-0 final score.

The BRS will meet the Edmonton Chargers next at Jasper Place Bowl in Edmonton on Saturday, April 22 at 3 p.m.
