Dear editor,
After working as a clerk in downtown Stettler for the past 20 years, I have heard a lot of customer complaints regarding no available parking. I would like to encourage business owners to ask their staff to park off Main Street.
We are lucky to have two large free parking lots that allow staff parking within a block of their workplace. Compare this convenience to a city centre employee who may pay dearly to park close to work…or ride a bus, transfer to another bus and then walk six more blocks in order to arrive at work each day.
