KOSTENUK, Taylor Scott
June 23, 1994 – Aug. 19, 2017
Taylor Scott Kostenuk was born and welcomed into the world on June 23, 1994 in Dawson Creek, B.C. Taylor was granted his angel wings on August 19, 2017 at the age of 23 while surrounded by his loving family and friends in the Red Deer Regional Hospital.
Taylor began his school years in Dawson Creek, B.C. and furthered his elementary and high school years in Stettler, AB and graduating at Sturgeon Composite High School in Gibbons, AB.
Taylor was an exceptional athlete and a lover of all sports starting with racing motocross and snowcross, hockey, soccer, wakeboarding, waterskiing, and a gold medalist freestyle skier on the Central Alberta Freestyle Ski Team. Taylor had a love of the outdoor lifestyle resulting in him choosing a career path in the Alberta Oilfield Industry with a focus on Pipelining and an Equipment Operator running a Sideboom.
Taylor is the kind of young man that anyone would love and be proud to call son, brother, grandson, nephew, confidant and friend. His fun-loving attitude, carefree spirit, passion for life and his infectious laugh will never be forgotten and will be cherished in our hearts for eternity.
As Taylor leaves to mourn his loss, his Mother, Terri-Lynn Kostenuk, his Brother, Connor Anderson, his Step-Father Clayton Charbonneau, his Grandmother Carol Modien as well as his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, we also know that Taylor is welcomed in Heaven with loving arms by his Grandfathers, Dennis Kostenuk and Mel Modien, his Grandmother Helvi Niemi and his Great Grandmother, Helen Castle.
