After William’s passing Mary married Alfred Richter. Mary always grew a large garden, was a good cook and homemaker. She would have been an excellent school teacher or nurse as she was always helping others. She helped on the farm doing everything from the everyday chores to operating the equipment. Mary was the Lousana Cub Scout leader for many years. In later years she was very active in the Drop In centers at Delburne, Stettler, and Lethbridge and enjoyed floor curling and card games.
