Clara Isabel Fournier (Deans)
April 11, 1952 - May 13, 2017
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Clara Isabel Fournier (Deans) on May 13, 2017. After a short battle with cancer, Clara did pass peacefully while surrounded by her husband and children at the Foothills hospital.
Clara is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Gary Fournier; her children Chris (Nadine) Fournier, Michelle (Barry) Lees and Danielle (Joe) Tomkow; her handsome grandsons: Kevin and Steven Lees, Justin, Jonathan and Clayton Fournier and her beautiful granddaughter Kara Tomkow; brother Bob (Trudy) Deans, sisters Sheila Deans and Josie (Richard) Daluge; step-father Dixon Carter; as well as brother and sister in-laws who were more like just brothers and sisters to her. Step brothers and sisters and countless nieces and nephews and all their families. Numerous extended family that were special in her life. Many, many dear friends that were family to her.
Clara is predeceased by her parents John and Isabel Deans, her mother and father in law Frenchy and Dolly Fournier and her twin baby boys Dan and Dave Fournier.
A funeral service was held on May 18, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at the Stettler Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Alberta Cancer Foundation. Sympathies may be forwarded to the family by signing the guestbook at www.stettlerfuneralhome.com.
