MORGAN – Cindy Lou Morgan was born in Calgary AB on Sept. 15, 1958, the fourth child of Robert (Bob) and Lilli (Peggy) Dixon. She passed away on June 22, 2008 at the age of 49 years. Cindy attended the Bowness school in Calgary where most of her early years were spent. In a few short years she met Bob Morgan the love of her life and they were married June 18, 1986 at the Whitecourt, AB airport. After graduation she worked for the Royal Bank in Calgary for a few years before being transferred to the Swan Hills, AB branch. On Oct. 22, 1989 their first daughter, Amanda Lou, was born and soon to follow on May 5,1991, Tammy Lynn was born. Two precious little miracles. From Swan Hills Cindy was transferred to Canmore, AB to help with opening the new RBC branch. They resided there until 2001, when at that time they moved to Stettler, AB where she has worked at the Royal Bank as a Financial Adviser until her passing. Cindy was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to go camping with her family and friends, to the Shuswap, B.C. and around Alberta every summer. In her spare time she would do cross stitching, take long walks and work many hours in her flower garden, which she took great pride showing to anybody that came to visit. Cindy took great interest in what her girls were doing and would volunteer to help with various events with the youth center to spend as much time with them as possible. Cindy would always take time to listen to her girls tell of their adventures from the trips they went on. Bob, Amanda and Tammy were the center of her life. Cindy loved to travel and took many trips with her mother to far away places before she settled down and married Bob. Bob and Cindy continued to travel to various places in the US and Caribbean and took Amanda and Tammy at ages 10 and 8 on a family vacation which included Disneyland, Universal Studios, San Diego Zoo and Sea World. The girls had fun meeting Disney characters and seeing many different animals, a trip they will never forget. In the last three years Bob and Cindy (now known as Singe) traveled to Cancun, Mexico and the Dominican Republic with a fun group of people who have become great friends. Predeceased by her father, mother and brother Murray, Cindy is survived by her loving husband Bob; two beautiful daughters, Amanda and Tammy; one brother Don (Vicky) Dixon; one sister Donna MacMillan; father and mother-in-law, Al and Joyce Morgan; brothers-in-law, Tom Morgan and Doug (Tina) Morgan; sisters-in-law, Joy Morgan and Barb Morgan; numerous nieces and nephews; other family members; many friends and co-workers. Cindy was a kind, fun, compassionate, loving person and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
