MACARTHUR, Allan Voysey 1930 - 2008. Allan Voysey MacArthur passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at the age of 77. Born in Hackett, AB on Aug. 17, 1930, he farmed in Botha, AB for 38 years before retiring to Red Deer, AB in 1990. Allan Leaves to mourn his loving wife Corinne of 55 years, a son Jack (Wendy) MacArthur and their children Jessica and Tim, a daughter Barbara (Craig) McDonald and their children Reid and Brett, and his brother Jim MacArthur of Botha and sister Marjorie Rothlin (Joe) of Calgary, AB as well as his sisters-in-law Jenny MacArthur, Patricia Church and numerous nieces and nephews. Allan was predeceased by his mother, Bertha in 1957, his father, Gordon in 1987 and his younger brother, Max, on Aug. 3, 1997. He was also predeceased by his brother-in-law Harvey Church in 1980 and sister-in-law Lillian MacArthur in 2007. A Celebration of Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, at, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, AB on Tuesday, Aug.19, 2008 at 2 p.m. A private family interment will be held at the Botha Woodland Cemetery.
