ALBRIGHT

Albert William

Sorrow will pass and memories will live on. Albert Albright left us peacefully from his home in Heritage House, Stettler, Alberta on February 13, 2010. Albert, Husband, Father, and Grandfather is survived by his wife Loretta of Stettler, Alberta; sons David Albright of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Delvin (Heather) Albright of Red Deer, Alberta, Perry (Edita) Albright of Whitecourt, Alberta, and Kelly (Wanda) Albright of Cumberland, British Columbia; as well as six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Albert is mourned by his surviving sisters Alvina Girard, Lydia (Leo) Beller and brothers; Jack (Irene), Walter, Raymond, Victor (Lillian), and Stanley. He also leaves behind numerous relatives and many friends. Family, friendship and fellowship in the Lord were Albert's greatest blessings. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and words of wisdom. Since his birth at Craigmyle, Alberta, on June 3, 1927, Albert lived an honest life. He grew up on the family farm and quickly became a respected farmer, handyman, and jack-of-all-trades, doing each very well. In 1959, Albert met his wife, Loretta, in the Drumheller district. Thru the years to come, Albert made Alberta their home. As his family of four boys grew, he farmed in Morrin, Rumsey, and Byemoor. In 1974 he and Loretta chose Stettler as their home. Albert was very proud to be a part of Kello-Bilt Industries for over 10 years. He was very involved in the church and community. As Albert approached retirement, he managed 2 apartment buildings, Stettler Manor and Dillman. Albert never really retired. Puttering around his home and helping friends kept him very busy and happy. He moved into Willow Creek Lodge in 2007 and then into the care of Heritage House in September of 2009. Albert and Loretta celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary this past December. Albert has joined God in Heaven. Pastor Ross Helgeton led a beautiful service at the Stettler Funeral Home on Saturday, February 20, 2010. We will never forget him, we will always love him. May Albert rest in peace. Memorial donations in memory of Albert may be made to Stettler Health Services Foundation or a charity of choice c/o Stettler Funeral Home and Crematorium, Box 1780, Stettler, Alberta T0C 2L0
