Tornado watch ended for Red Deer

Some areas remain under severe thunderstorm warnings

Red Deer is no longer under a tornado watch.

At 10:07 p.m. the watch ended for Red Deer, Red Deer County, Ponoka and other parts of Central Alberta.

Red Deer and much of Central Alberta were under tornado watches and storms throughout Saturday.

Environment Canada said conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes.
