A special guy from our community will be celebrating his birthday on Sunday 11, Trevor Wedrick, hope you have a fantastic day Trevor. Then this coming Saturday our granddaughter will be celebrating her 2nd birthday (Willow Bellair). Hope you have a fantastic and fun day sweetheart.
Did you purchase your ticket yet for comedian Jimmy the Janitor? It will be a fantastic evening on March 16, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Botha Hall. This will be another fundraiser for our school, so please come on out and enjoy a great evening, and support our school at the same time. He is a great adult comedian. Floor curling is every Thursday at 1pm., so come on out and join in the fun.
This coming Monday is quilting time, so make sure you come out at 9:30 a.m. and join this group, everyone is welcome.
Bingo evening will be held on Wednesday 14, Valentine’s Day, so bring your sweetheart out for a great evening. Who knows you both could be big winners that evening. A big congratulations goes out to last weeks big jackpot winner, way to go. Bingo evenings are every second Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. when the Bingo balls start rolling.
Monday 12 is the basketball game at SES, so come on out and support all the players.
Wednesday 21, is the first ski trip to Alliance ski hill, so if you have some time and would like to go along and help out at this please contact the school at 403-742-5187. Everyone is welcome out for a great time, and all volunteers are truly appreciated.
The Old Tyme Dance for this month will be held on February 25 at 1:30 p.m. The Ralph and Friends band will be entertaining that evening, so it will be a great time.The thyme for this dance is St. Patrick’s so feel free to wear something green in color to this one.

This past week was Groundhog Day and I heard he never seen his shadow. So does that mean we’ll get a early spring, sure hope so everyone can’t wait until spring is finally here, its been cold lately and a lot of January so it will be nice when it warms up again.
