A former William E. Hay Secondary Campus teacher who taught at the school for three decades just celebrated his 90th birthday in his new home.

Peter Brockley, moved to Glade, B.C. from Stettler in 1999. Brockley spent 30 years as a machine shop teacher in Stettler before retiring.

He recently celebrated his birthday at a family reunion in Glade, which brought five generations of the family together, three children, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

While Brockley lived in Stettler, he and his wife were active with the theatre and the Gilbert and Sullivan Chorus.

During the reunion, Brockley entertained his family with comedic monologues and musical theatre songs from memory in a pre-dinner show.
