On Wednesday, June 21, a substantial fire occurred at the transfer station in the Village of Big Valley.
This has led to the station being closed down until further notice.
According to the County of Stettler, residents of the area are being asked to divert all refuse to transfer stations in the following places.
Byemoor on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Erskine on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and beginning July 1, Sundays from 1 to 6 p.m.
Stettler, everyday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
