Drivers should be aware of some bridge repair work going on this month between Stettler and Big Valley.
Speed reductions are in effect on Highway 590 just before Highway 56 for a culvert liner installation over the tributary to the Red Deer River.
Flag persons will be on-site when equipment is crossing the highway, and speeds will reduce to 80 km/hr, and then down to 50 km/hr.
You’re asked to obey all posted signs and to watch for workers, with delays of under 30 minutes expected.
Be prepared to stop for this work that will occur during the daytime until the 28th of January.
