Coronation RCMP investigate theft from a Halkirk wind turbine site

Police say two small rechargable 12 volt batteries and a charger were taken

Coronation Mounties are reaching out to the public for information on a theft that occurred sometime over the last few weeks.

Between January 12th, and the morning of February 1st, 2018, an unknown number of suspect(s) entered a Capital Power wind turbine site and stole two small 12 volt rechargeable batteries and a battery charger.

If you have any information about the theft from the wind turbine site northeast of Halkirk, contact the Coronation RCMP at 403-578-3666.

If the information leads to an arrest, tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.00.
