Women’s curling teams have a great bonspiel in Erskine

All the women’s curling teams enjoyed the curling, food and games and the entertainment in the 2017 Bonspiel.

ERSKINE ENQUIRER — All the women’s curling teams enjoyed the curling, food and games and the entertainment in the 2017 Bonspiel. Winners of the A event were Daylon Brown, Brett Bignell, Deneen Brown and Diane Rattray. Second was the Lindsay Thorson Rink, third was the Toni Squires Rink and fourth was the Mary Mueller Rink.

In the B event the winners were Deb Hiller, Vicki Walstrom, Denise Reinbold and Teeny Allen. Jen Robbins rink was second, Krystal Sorum was third and Bernice Danielson was fourth. The C event was won by Karen Armstrong, Wendy Bignell, Jennifer Higgins and Jody Fisher, second was Mel Gish, third was Kathy Moxham, and fourth was Connie Devnich.

The Erskine ladies would like to thank all those who donated prizes, all the volunteers and all the curlers for making this a fun weekend event.

The Men’s Bonspiel began on Sunday, March 12 and will run till next Sunday, March 19 so come on out and watch the curling and enjoy a burger.
