'This past week I had a new experience'

GADSBY/WESTWOODS NEWS -- A new experience for me this week I was hacked. So, if someone tries to take over your computer, turn it off. Big thanks to Ryan at Artemis for all his help, and Barb over at RBC.

Please note that the St. Patrick’s dine and dance is on March 18, and young Ray Musgrove turned 11. Now dad Grant Musgrove’s birthday was Friday, Feb. 3. Bill and Joyce Hansel were there for dinner, cake and a good visit.

On Sunday, Feb. 5, Bill and Joyce headed to Provost for great grandson Ryan Trenerry’s third birthday and on Monday it was into Stettler to Gordie and Shirley Reynolds for Shirley’s birthday. Bernard and Lois Garland, Joe and Maxine Hansel, Harry and Doreen Martin were all there as well. Happy birthday to all the above mentioned.

Ken and Elaine Ganshirt were recent visitors at sister Barb and Vic Carey’s. While there they also had breakfast in Stettler with cousin Vicki, made a trip to Red Deer to visit sister-in-law Gretha Ganshirt and family, before heading to Calgary to visit Uncle Walter and to shop on the way home, returning to Saskatchewan.

Birthday greetings to five-year-old Kalli Bigney. Parents Tom and Angela Bigney held a Ninja Turtle themed birthday party for Kalli on Sunday, Feb. 5 (her actual birthday was on Tuesday, Feb. 7). Also present were grandparents Fred and Velvet Entwisle, Charlene and Dennis Smith as well as Auntie Haley and girls. It was a fun time for all.

An update on the St. Patrick’s Day “Dine and Dance,” the price of a ticket is $30 at the door with Teresa’s Catering providing the food. There will also be a White Elephant Table. Everyone’s welcome.
