Seniors’ activities on hold for summer

Congratulations to the Rowledge family, who are celebrating their farm’s 100th birthday this Saturday. What a wonderful heritage that is.

ERSKINE ENQUIRER — Congratulations to the Rowledge family, who are celebrating their farm’s 100th birthday this Saturday. What a wonderful heritage that is.

There are no planned activities for the seniors now until September, however, if anyone wants to play some games Thursday evenings or even card games, they can continue to do so if there is enough interest.

Check out the flea market in Erskine this weekend. This is a new business and is located in the lot beside the Erskine Grill.

Coming up this weekend is a garage sale for Min Nibourg from Nevis, who has moved into Points West. The sale runs all weekend at her residence in Nevis.

The Erskine Post Office will remain open during the lockout so everyone can still pick up any parcels or their mail. However, no mail will be coming in or going out until the strike is over. Hopefully they will reach an agreement quickly.

Ol MacDonald’s has a great lineup of musicians for the weekend of September 9 11. See the poster at the Erskine Post Office.
