WILDCATS' CORNER -- The football team's last home game was on Monday, Oct. 17. The volleyball teams continue to be busy with games and tournaments.
The local Be the Change group is doing the "We Scare Hunger Campaign" again. The group will be coming around on Halloween night to collect food for our local food bank. There is no obligation, but it would be appreciated if you could donate some food to our local cause. The Students' Union is having a costume contest on Monday, Oct. 31, so we encourage students to come to school dressed up.
The play this year is called Almost, Maine. It is a play about falling in love and falling out of love. Rehearsals have started and the play is well underway. The play will be performed from Nov. 30 – Dec. 3. Tickets are now on sale at the high school office and at Wells Furniture.
The Fine Arts board is helping with the Museum's Haunted House. It is running this week Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from Oct. 27-29 and will be a lot of fun. Hope to see you there.
The local band Domino came to do a workshop on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 3:30 p.m. in the band room. It was very informative and educational. Thank you to all who attended.
Challenge Day was on Monday, Oct. 24 for Grade 9, and Oct. 25 for Grade 10. Thank you to the many parent and student volunteers.
The Fellowship of Christian Students is having a bake sale every Thursday to fundraise for their trip to Guatemala. They are also showing Christian movies on every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. for the next month to raise funds.
