Museum Day fun for all

DONALDA DIARY -- The Donalda and District Museum held its Museum Day last Sunday, and it was a great success with plenty of visitors stopping into the museum with their families. Guests enjoyed touring the museum and the creamery. They also enjoyed barbecued hot dogs with the day starting off a little rainy and chilly, and later ice cream as the day warmed up.

All in all, it was a great day. A big thank you goes out to those that volunteered to make this day possible. Just a reminder, the Museum will be closed until Thursday, Oct. 6.

The Donalda and District Agricultural Society is holding a battery drive to raise money to repair the leaky roof at the arena. They are accepting all batteries such as car, RV, lawnmower, ATV, tractor, farm equipment, etc. Please place batteries on designated pallet located by the tractor shed and indoor arena at 1202 Bond Street. For more information please call Beth at 403-741-8196, or Ron at 403-589-6719.
