The deep freeze has finally arrived and along with stiff lips, shivering shoulders, and chattering teeth, our skin suffers, too.

With Alberta’s average winter humidity not much different from that of the Kalahari Desert, you’ll want to learn how to cope with the resulting dry skin problems. Join us for Dixie’s Winter Skin Care tips on Friday, Jan. 19, at 5 p.m. and banish those chapped lips and frozen cheeks. Ages 13+ (And if you don’t know anything about the Kalahari Desert, we can help you find books on it because we’re helpful that way.)

For an entertaining and intriguing break from the nasty weather, why not check out our equipment lending library?

For children, we have fun, educational kits that include themed toys, books, puzzles, and games on many topics from Farming to Feelings.
