Have you noticed the beautiful Book Quilt on display in the fireplace area of our library?

It could be yours! Simply purchase a raffle ticket ($5 each) from our booth at Stettler’s annual Trade Show, Friday to Sunday, April 12-14 at the Rec Centre this weekend.

The Stettler Stitchers created and donated the colourful quilt valued at $1600. The winner will be announced on Mother’s Day weekend, May 9 at 4 p.m. with proceeds going to library programming for all ages.

While you’re checking out our booth, be sure to fill out a survey and you’ll be entered to win a special gift basket of readerly goodies. If you don’t have any feedback on our many resources and services, isn’t it time you did?

Memberships are free to residents of Stettler town or county.

As long as you’re in the building, why not stock up on your summertime books and DVDs at the Friends Annual Spring Book Sale, Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Prices are by donation and proceeds go toward library programs.
