Congratulations to Rita, winner of our Reader’s Gift Basket at Stettler’s recent Trade Show. Among many readerly goodies included in the basket was a Kobo e-reader. Did you know that you can download library e-books at no charge onto your Kobo? Come in soon to find out what we have in store for you.

Folks attending the Trade Show voted on their favourite entry in the Peeps Diorama contest with the lucky winner receiving a $25 gift certificate to the bowling alley. Congratulations to the creator of the entry of the Peeps Galaxy Theatre which was voted as the favourite. We would also like to congratulate all who took the time and effort to bring their imagination to life. The Peeps will be back next year so start planning now!

Tickets ($5 each) for the Friends of the Library Society’s raffle are still available to win the beautiful Book Quilt created and donated by the Stettler Stitchers ($1600 value). The winning ticket will be drawn May 9 on Facebook Live at 4 p.m. and someone will receive this eye-catching piece of art in time for Mother’s Day.

Speaking of Mother’s Day, join us on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m. when we welcome Vintage Thistle’s Tennille Docherty to create a lovely floral arrangement in a teacup. There is a cost of $30 per person which includes all supplies. Spots are limited; call today to register.
