Christ King School is gearing up for the Terry Fox Run on Sept. 30. At our Monday morning prayer assembly, Mr. Gallagher started the week off with a video clip called “Try the Impossible”, a brief overview of Terry’s inspiring story.

Students will run on Thursday morning, taking pledges to raise money for cancer research.

We had a terrific turn out for our open house last Monday.

It was great to see so many families come out for a hot dog or two, to meet our teachers and see the Book Fair.

The Gardening Club will be wrapping up for the season on Wednesday with a chance to sample the produce we’ve grown. Thanks to Loretta Lavallee and the HEaRT program for the support they’ve provided over the last few months, and also to Louis and Tamara Dupont, our parent volunteers.

Christ King students have been invited to design a logo and name our athletic teams. We have some terrific entries.

Stay tuned for the winning entry, and have a fantastic week.
