Gadsby hosts annual Omega Circle Bazaar

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating with family and friends, turkey and stuffing!

Kyle Bigney celebrated his 23rd birthday on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at home in Gadsby with family. Fred and Velvet, Haley, Sean and Cooper; Tom and Angela, and Aunt Mary all were there. Kyle was served his favorite birthday cheesecake. Happy Birthday Kyle!

Fred and Velvet, Kyle and Leigha, Haley, Sean and cooper and Tom and Angela are spending Thanksgiving weekend in Kimberley, B.C. with family and friends.

Betty Hankins, Allan Hankins and Jude (Hankins) Rae arrived Thursday at the home of Percy and Paulette Heer. Also staying the weekend at the farm is Iona Berg. An interment service held at the Botha Cemetery in memory of Bob Hankins took place Friday morning, followed by lunch at the Botha Hall. Joining them in Botha was Betty’s oldest son Jim and Monica Hankins, as well as Allan’s wife Cheri and daughters Adrianna and Alicia.

Don’t forget to mark Oct. 16 on your calendar and come out to Gadsby for the Octoberfest supper at the Bank Building starting at 5 p.m. Cash bingo starts at 7:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

And mark Oct. 30th to come enjoy yourself at the 90th annual Omega Circle Bazaar and Bake Sale. Doors open at 2 p.m. Lunch is served and prizes galore.
