GADSBY/WESTWOODS -- As I write this Monday morning, only 11 more months til Christmas!
Friday night Wade and Ybiett Diegel hosted a birthday supper for daughter Jasmin, who turned 12 on Jan. 18. Grandparents Stan and Gloria Diegel attended, as did aunts and uncles, Richelle and Greg Skocdopole and family, Arden and Deanne Diegel and girls. Happy birthday, Jasmin!
Saturday afternoon Bill and Joyce Hansel attended the family party for Joe and Maxine Hansel, who celebrated their 60th anniversary, hosted by Susan and Aleta. Bill and Joyce's daughter Sandy and Rod were there from Gibbons, Alberta. They had spent Friday night with Sandy's daughter Denee and Jason, Saturday night with Bill and Joyce before heading home. Daughter Sue Bauman was there as well.
Hazel Thomas and Harold enjoyed an energetic weekend when Hazel's grandsons Ryan, Kyle and Drew stayed while mom and dad took the weekend off. Daughter Rosanna and husband enjoyed the short holiday, picking up the boys Sunday night.
Happy anniversary to Gordie and Shirley Reynolds who are celebrating 58 years of marriage. Their anniversary was Sunday, Jan. 24.
