This coming Sunday, June 18, is Father’s Day, so remember to do something special for your father that day, they deserve it.
Card playing day at the Senior Centre was this past Monday afternoon and had some residents come out and enjoy an afternoon of cards.
Floor curling and carpet bowling are still being held until the end of June, before they go for their summer break. So make sure you come out every Wednesday at 1 p.m. for carpet bowling and every Thursday for floor curling at 1 p.m.
Bingo evening is coming up again on next Wednesday, June 21, starting at 7:15 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. So come on out for some excitement.
The 2016-2017 School Year will be coming to an end very soon before the summer break. So we would like to wish all students and staff a great summer. Also, best of luck to all students that will now be heading into the middle school. All staff have enjoyed working with you all throughout the year and you all will be truly missed. They would love to wish you all the best in the future as you move into the Stettler School to further your education.
Make sure you stop at the Botha Grill this summer for some great meals. They are now open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, except for Sunday.
Don’t forget to take some time out of your busy schedule and head to the Senior Centre every Wednesday at 10 a.m., to join your friends for some great conversation and enjoy a cup or two of fresh hot coffee. Coffee hour continues throughout the summer months, so take a break and join them if you can.
The last Quilting Club has now ended until after harvest, and they want to thank everyone for attending this past year and hope to see everyone attend when they start up again in the fall.
