Byemoor 4-H Beef Club refines its public-speaking techniques

OMG! Hannah here. I just heard the latest gossip. Take a look.

We had our club Christmas party at the Stewarts and watched a movie and played in the bale maze. Thanks to Delaine and Kevin for letting us have our party there.

On Jan. 7, 4-H Fun Day took place at the Stettler Recreation Centre. There were lots of activities, such as stilts and balloons, swimming, and corkboard decorating.

Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers that made that day possible. Everyone had a blast.

Information Day was held at Schillings and we learned how to give injections and played 4-H Beef Jeopardy.

Our next 4-H meeting is this week at the Byemoor arena. We will be practising public-speaking techniques.

On Feb. 16, Byemoor Beef will be public speaking at the Byemoor School. Doors open at 5 p.m. and speaking will start at 6 p.m.

We will be doing a battery drive in the spring (date will be announced later). If you have any questions, call one of the leaders. This is one of our major fundraisers of the year.

Now that you’ve heard this month’s latest gossip, you can check out next month’s report.

See you later.
