The Big Knife 4-H Beef Club held its awards banquet July 25 at the Red Willow Hall, beginning with a potluck supper at 6 p.m.
Our calf buyers, the award donors, Brad Wolansky from the ATB, along with parents and the members of the Big Knife beef crew, enjoyed a delicious supper with all the trimmings.
After the supper, we had the award presentations.
Three of our senior members — Jeanine Foot, Dylan Benjamin and Brandon Nemetz — will be leaving us and we wish them all the best in their future plans.
To finish off the evening, we took a group picture out on the grass in the formation of the 4-H symbol.
So, here’s to a great year and we hope to see you all in the fall.
